WOD #2- 12 roundsForearms done-got some nasty looks in the Globo Gym I was at when on round 11, I dropped the bar from about chest high...yeah, they didn't have bumper plates so it was pretty loud. Oh well...no big deal...no one else in the gym was working out hard enough to sweat so I didn't really care. In fact, there was a sign in the gym that said, "Towels mandatory, sweat optional." (??!!) Go figure... Keep keepin it real, B&G...hope the break is treatin you well...
WOD #2 - 9 rounds as RX'dGrip was the limiting factor on the cleans...
WOD#29 rounds++ 8 DL, 6HPC, 3 FS w/ about 4 fails at the bottom of the rep for the last FS. Scaled 100#. Grip-limited this morning...
WOD #2: 10+ 8 deadlifts as Rx'dThat sucked. NM, you must have been inspired today. As always, I'm impressed. If Chris had not showed up I probably would have quit at the 10 minute mark. This one hurt me today.
7 rds. Seriously, this WOD hurt. Both my pride,... and literally physically hurt me!!My form on HPC's was terrible. I'm amazed I din't actually fall over backwards or break an ankle or something. Must have been hilarious to watch rounds 4-7.And then, my aching everything. Ouch! Forearms (grip), lower back (progressively worse form), collarbone (sloppy catching the bar HPC's), hands (bar blisters), shins (bar scraping),... It's days like this when I wonder why I ever did anything besides CF WOD's. Merry Christmas a few days early.
WOD #2: 10+ 8 deadlifts as Rx'dI literally copy and pasted JWhips score to mine. Just sayin. Yeah at around my 4th 5th round didnt want to do it anymore. But I did. missin the group
WOD #2- 11 rds + 8 DL and 1 PCUsed my dad's weight set from 1976. Weights were actually made by my grandpa in the foundry that he used to work in. Need the morning crew there to watch my form. Back is going to kill me for the next week due to poor form on DLs.
WOD 2. 10rds + 7 DLs. Had to scale to 95# b/c my form sux so bad that I would have hurt something otherwise. Glad I did. Was a good weight for this smoker.finished with a tabata run (thanks Stroh!): 10% grade/ 6 mph, 8 rounds of 20/10 seconds run/rest. Saw it on xfit endurance. PS- Neil, yer my hero! Keep rockin the sweat optional Globo Gym. That is pure awesomeness.
WOD #1Had to sub 50 squat tuck jumps for the backwards run because of the snow which ranged from 1/2" to 4". Total time: 21:08
