Short distance, high intensity intervals! 

Let's meet in the '62 Room to warm up and then we will head up to the basketball courts (4th floor).

12 rounds for time:
20 double-unders (1:2 sub to maintain high intensity = 40 single unders/jumping jacks)
100 meter sprint touch & go (run 50m, touch, and return to start - half length of B-Ball courts - longwise)
Rest 1 minute

Hey - I'm not sure how long the basketball courts are in Arvin (maybe that fancy new gym has some b-i-g courts), but I'm pretty sure it's only 50 feet to the half-court line.

Is half-court and back the standard, regardless of the space and time defying physics that may make Arvin b-ball courts larger?

@jswobe, the gyms have 3 courts side by side with some space in between, so running halfway across the courts is about 50m.

jswobe - in the 4th floor there are 3 baseball courts side by side, so the idea is to run across 1.5 basketball courts (not up/down 1/2 of one). I would go more off of the distance (estimate 100 meters). This morning the b-ball courts were full, so we improvised and went 'approximately' 50 meters down and back, although it will probably more like 60 - 70 meters each way. Each round typically took about 30 seconds to complete.

Absolute smoker w/ humidity and heat (and bear-crawling obstacles) for added fun!

I don't know my time since I forgot my watch, but I know I cut myself short of the full 12 mins of rest. I finished right next to MAJ G.

Redeemed myself this afternoon with a "sea to summit run" from the railroad tracks to the top of the ski slope via Washington gate at 33:54.
