14:08 as RX'dThis one hurt. I went striagh through the first 21 HSPU, but it went down hill from there. I'm now putting ring dips at the top of my goat list. Also, who would have thought that doing regular push-ups would have been so tough.

16:48 (not as rx'd!)I've been kidding myself on HSPUs and this morning it was very evident. I can do 5 HSPUs at a time for awhile, as long as I have decent rest in between. This AM, I got to 10 on the first round and hit failure. Scotty helped me on the rest of round 1 and round 2...I did band HSPUs on round 3. HSPUs are definitely my biggest goat along with OHS. Gotta start working these into my warm-up more.
27:02- 93# x 5. Had to go back and make-up the Bear from Friday. And I could not get going.
Time was 18:30....Did not have rings so I did a TON of normal dips instead. Did 40 the first round, 35, then 30. I might have overdone it. I concur with other that HSPU are one of my worst exercises. I could not believe how little energy I had to do so few pushups.
12:33 scaledused the straps on HSPU and Ring Dips. Need to work both exercises more.

Re: CrossFit at Ft. Benning and the about-to-open Audie Murphy Gym Myself and Steve M. just stopped by the new Murphy gym (set to open this Thurs.) and took a tour. Let me tell you, it is a CrossFitter's dream. Sorinex BaseFit racks, bars, bumpers, kettlebells, and pull up bars as far as the eye can see. There's an indoor track long enough to sprint on, more than enough room for any WOD, and even padded rooms within the facility to work some combatives. The place is absolutely awesome. If anybody down here wants to get a workout in with me an a few others, shoot me an email (email@example.com) and we'll see if we can get a group together.
15:13Definitely don't like HSPU's! Did all of them assisted with bands but only got through 21. Failed at 5 on the 2nd set, and 4 on the 3rd set.Great to hear Benning is opening up a CF gym. Dan, see if you can send us some photos once it opens up.
Finished around 16:30 with a 2:30 break after the second round to set up the work out for another guy that got there in the middle of it. The rest definitely helped me get some form back on the HSPU's and to get more depth on the ring dips. ChrisC and I finished with the Gym Jones "Tail Pipe" workout. I was a little skeptical at first on whether or not it would be as tough as the site claims it is.... It was.Excited for the Audie Murphy gym to open up here on Thursday.
18:42Had some help on the last two sets of handstand push ups. ChrisV dropped me on my face on the last set which wasn't very helpful. Definitely need to work on the handstand push ups, my form toward the end was terrible.
