DB threw down the gauntlet for NM the other day for this WOD. So here we go....

For time:
30 Handstand push-ups
40 Pull-ups
50 Kettlebell swings (53#/35#)
60 Sit-ups
70 Burpees

Post time to comments.

Now NM has no excuse for not doing this WOD.

70 burpees. Seriously. Who comes up with these numbers. That sucked. I scaled the HSPUs to a 10lb bumper plate for depth. I still don't have full ROM, but 1 plate is better than 2. That being said...

15:55, once again I realize how awful I am at Burpees, thanks to everyone who stuck around and motivated me to the finish. Also, KB swings have never felt so awful.

DB, you destroyed me, Bro!!! My time was 15:18...bout half that time on HSPUs (not really, but it felt that way). And Mr. 12:37 (JWhips)...sick effort!! Ridonkulous!! Tex, great work on the WOD and also for bringing your squad out.

Maybe because it's Friday, maybe I spent too much time screwing around with taping my hands, or maybe I'm just weak. You all humbled me...great work!

And for all you present and future Infantrymen out there, don't forget that the send-off is this Saturday at 1700 down at the river courts. Beer and meat. What more could you be looking for?

15:14 with modifications
Band assisted HSPU's and subbed air squats for burpees.

Only one more CF Friday for the Class of 2010. Please start recruiting so we can have a great turn out tomorrow morning. We'll look to get back to the foundation and bring the fun outside next week.

Okay...so mainsite today was this WOD in reverse. I thought it was going to be easier to start of on burpees when you are fresh...this is what we call a REALLY BAD ASSUMPTION. I found out today that burpees suck just as much when you are fresh as when you are smoked. By the time I got to hand stand push ups, which is normally a wheelhouse for me, I was destroyed. Interesting how the same number of reps in a different order can completely change the outcome.

I miss you guys, I wish I could have been there with you for this one.

5 minutes on just the burpees. That just sucked. Major props to my squad for not complaining when I dragged them out this AM. MAJ Whipple, sick performance, sir, absolutely unreal for the time.
