This is a 10 1/2 minute improvement from May. I don't think I miscounted, but I might have on the Pull-ups (10 at most). My brain was lacking oxygen towards the end there. Also, I think my squat depth could have been better.
15:58...actually got slower on this time around by a few seconds. I really tried to wargame this one too much this morning. Last time I flew through the pull ups by doing sets of 20, 20, 20, 10, and then slowly breaking down into smaller sets. This time I tried to go 20 on the first round and then maintain 10s the rest of the way. I found that I actually hit muscle failure quicker going that route. Once you get into a rythym on pull ups, I think you should just keep it up as long as you can. Pacing was a bad idea. I also did feet anchored last time and not this time. All in all, I was about 20 seconds slower but I'm not overly bothered by it given some of my mental errors. Lesson learned.
Jason has to be juicing! I'm just sayin' Crazy improvement.
For you cadets...please note the humility of NM. He kills everyone's time by over a minute, and then tells us how he needs to improve and praises someone else. A great example of how to check your ego at the door.
Rough. 19:24. Did two rounds of 50. Seemed to be a good mix. Not sure if I was allowed to do that. Pull-ups chewed up quite a bit of time. Avg HR: 142 Peak: 160 Still recovering from recent trip to GA.

my chest was still a little sore from MON's WOD.

Gotta improve my push-up form for all 100 reps (going all the way down)...probably would've gotten some DPE "No's!" after about 50.
Thanks to the crew for all the encouragement.
What about a 10 1/2 minute improvement by Jason! Lots of other great efforts out there today as well...
