Welcome back! We're going to take this week to get back in the swing of things for those who have been delinquent in their training. Next Monday will be the real butt kicker, welcome back workout. In the mean time, here's a workout that will get us started on a new academic year.

10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 reps of:
Overhead squat (135lb/95lb)
Handstand push up

HSPU: 10,9,...5 unassisted, and did 4,3,2 assisted when I couldn't hold myself up anymore. Then finished with 1 unassisted.
I cannot wait until next week when the "real butt kicker" starts.

OHS I did 85 pounds the whole time. If anything is my goat it is these. My form actually got better as I got deeper into the workout. The hand stand pushups were the best so far. I had a spot but did them the best yet. Wish I would have done more weight on the squats but that was probably the first workout I've had with them.

Wow it has been a while since I have posted. My summer has caught up to me. I lost everything I worked so hard for last year.

My HSPU were horrible...

Yeah...that was a nice slow re-introduction to pain. I felt every beer I consumed over the last month.

Propped my feet up 5 feet and used push-up bars to simulate HSPU. Awesome WOD.
