Spent too much time resting and feeling sorry for myself this morning.

It has been a while since we've done a lot of pull-ups. I honestly thought I'd get more the first round, but I crapped out at 25. I was lucky to get 10 in a row for the rest of the WOD.

It was great seeing some new faces out there this morning. I hope you keep coming back.

Big props to T Nash (Vanilla Gorilla) for bringing in some high energy tunes!!

Anyone else that wants to put together a mix of motivation feel free and we'll get it on the speakers.

Pretty sad this morning. Would have done better if there was a gym loop in there.

  8. 11:40. V. Gorilla and JWhips I am in awe of your pullup prowess. If Dave Mathews was playing (for the ten thousandth time) I'm sure I would have moved faster...

Felt good. Starting off week 4 of Crossfit. Ripped off my first callous.

  10. 13.08- with green band and later, jump pullups.

Epic moment of the day was on last set of box jumps and my Beast 1 squad leader was doing box jumps directly across from me (reminded me of a few smoke sessions of the past)

  11. 13:38 as rx'd. Completely ripped off some of my callouses. Guess I should've taped...

  13. I tried a new WOD this weekend called "tear up my shoulder while crashing on the ski slope..."

After my Ortho appt and an MRI clears me to exercise, this will be an ideal opportunity to see how CrossFit works as a rehab vehicle.

Hopefully we'll have a lot of leg intesive WOD's this next month. O/W you can see me doing a lot of lunges, running and one armed KB snatches.

I haven't done that many pullups in a while either. I mangled my hands and left blood on my bar and in the chalk bucket...cool.

  17. No blood in the chalk bucket!! That's a health issue and we'll need to throw it away. That wastes the chalk we have. Not cool!

Please take a chunk out, use it, if you get blood on it, THROW IT OUT.

    Thanks

  18. Gregg, should have listened to your advice about taping...foolish of me. Lesson learned. 10:36 as rx'd. On another note, I didn't see any blood in the chalk bucket as of a few minutes ago. That's good.
