Meet at Shea Stadium for some track work. 

Morning crew, let's rally at 0600, warm-up for a bit and then knock this one out.

Rest for 1 minute between each of the following distances:

100 meters
200 meters (half lap)
400 meters (full lap)
400 meters
200 meters
100 meters
1600 meters (4 laps = 1 mile)

Post total time to comments.

  1. Wow, that was miserable, but I totally need that type of work.

    Great work by Matt and JC for really pushing it on the 1600m, I ran out of gas.

    21-15-9
    pullups
    95 lb overhead squats
    95 lb hang power cleans
    run a supt-cmdt loop between rds

    16:10 minutes of suffering.

    No track, so I guess-timated the distances using Google maps. Seemed close based on times...

    splits (rough estimates):
    100m: 15 secs
    200m: 35 secs
    400m: 1:30

    200m: 50 secs
    100m: 17 secs
    1600m: 8:30 (sand bagged a little, I guess...)
