With a continuously running clock do one pull-up the first minute, two pull-ups the second minute, three pull-ups the third minute... continuing as long as you are able.

Use as many sets each minute as needed.

Post number of minutes completed to comments.

  1. Since I have been doing this for almost 6 months now, I guess it is about time I start posting. I figured that if Sam was going to post, I should too.

  2. 19 rounds complete...made it to 19 reps on the 20th round before time ran out. This was a big PR for me, last time we did this one, way back before the website was active, I only did 13. Big improvement and it only cost me two torn callouses. See you tomorrow.

  4. 16 (completed my 16th rep right at the minute) - 136 total pull-ups.

Worked some handstand push-ups afterwards. Thanks to Tex and Carissa for sticking around and helping me out.

  9. Made it to round 13 and ripped a couple of callouses along the way.

Looking forward to improving in the future. Pullups have always been a weakness for me.

did chest to the bar for as many as possible from the beginning... what a great way to see form degrade with fatigue.

Anybody heard anything about the CF scene down at Benning? When I was there last summer the gym didn't cater to it, but I was wondering if anything had changed.

  13. DanH, today I talked to someone who just got back from Airborne at Benning. She said that there was not anyone doing CF at the main gym.

  14. Early reports from the guys that started BOLC II already is that their PT is mostly CF centered. Can't be sure of how quality it is, but I'd bet it can be as good as you make it.

  15. 11 rounds. Not my best effort, but I bet I'll look back in a few months and laugh at myself. At least, thats the plan.

  16. I'm at BOLC II now. There's a decent room in the new gym right by the barracks. It has rowing machines, pullup bars, kettle bells, Olympic bars and some other stuff. PT is pretty decentralized. Usually we break off and do our own thing in the mornings, and we're done by 5 or so in the afternoons so there's plenty of time to get in the WOD and then some. There are a few people who do crossfit down here, but nothing organized.
